H. L. Libby Corporation History

H. L. Libby Corporation is an investment, development and management company involved in commercial real estate. The company was started by Harold L. Libby approximately 25 years ago. The company has a track record of steady, solid growth. The company is currently acquiring, developing and operating highly successful shopping centers and malls in the eastern United States. These centers are located in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and New York. The company continues to emphasize the development of two of its major interests - the acquisition of commercial properties requiring creative management skills and acquiring distressed properties that can be revitalized.

We have complete in-house building and leasing capabilities as well as considerable experience working through independent contractors. The company enjoys mutually profitable relations with many financial institutions and retail chains throughout the country. The day-to-day operations of properties are handled in the Pittsburgh office. Financial matters are handled by both the Florida and Pittsburgh offices. All properties have shown a strong, positive cash flow.

Our present policy is to continue to purchase and develop new shopping centers and to expand commercial development in those areas in which we are experienced. Future plans include the broadening of our activities to encompass the acquisition, development, building and operation of properties for investors other than those currently associated with the company.
